Shasta for the annual 4th of July 5 mile race.  It was a pretty good run.  My plan was to stay at a 9min mile pace.  I ended up at 9:30min miles putting me sprinting into the finish line at 47:30.  It's so beautiful up there!!! deadlifts 3x185, 3x205, 1x215 (did not attempt 2 &amp;amp; 3, really need to work on form)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Denise's 55th Bday WOD&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;55 squats&lt;br /&gt;carry 55# 200m (used 26# KB &amp;amp; 30# DB)&lt;br /&gt;10,9,8... ,3,2,1 burpees &amp;amp; pullups&lt;br /&gt;13:19&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Then did a mile run which came in about 8:45 or so (not a PR, but i'm happy Santos and Megan put on a great show. It was a tough challenge but of course well worth it. This is my second semester through Shasta College taking golf. Instructor Dave &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0"&gt;Scholom&lt;/span&gt; is an &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1"&gt;excellent&lt;/span&gt; coach and I truly enjoy the class.
